As students across the five boroughs get ready to celebrate their accomplishments and graduate high school, a pair of twins from the KIPP NYC College Prep school will be joining two of the most prestigious colleges in our area.  

Quincy and Thomas Mitchell are graduating next week. Quincy is on his way to Syracuse University to study engineering, and Thomas will be heading to Dartmouth to study medicine.  

They credit their success in part to their experience at KIPP.  

“Knowing what I can do, being responsible for myself, KIPP made that possible,” said Quincy.  

Quincy is preparing to move up to Syracuse’s campus this fall, while his twin Thomas will be spending the summer working at a camp before heading to Dartmouth.
