If one ticket were to win the jackpot, it would be the nation's fourth-largest lottery prize. The prize is so large because no one has matched the game's six numbers since April 15.
Vikram Chaudhari, owner of Esquire News Shop in Freeport, says his store was full of people buying tickets.
“They're buying more. People are spending $50, $100, since the jackpot is very high,” he says.
The drawing will be conducted at 11 p.m.
