Suspect connected to 2 home burglaries in Williamsburg

Police say they are searching for a suspect Wednesday who has been breaking into homes in Williamsburg.
They say on May 7 the man forced open the front door of a building in the vicinity of Throop Avenue and Moore Street. They say the suspect stole a bicycle and a backpack from the hallway and took off.
Police say the man struck again last Monday near Broadway and Hooper Street. They say he forced his way in through the front door and stole a package and three pieces of luggage.
Both incidents took place around 4:30 a.m.
Police describe the suspect as being between 20 and 35 years old and between 5'6” and 5'9” with a beard.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
