A truck slammed into a building in Sheepshead Bay after a close call with a cyclist. 

The vehicle was towed away after it crashed on Nostrand Avenue Sunday, near Avenue W. 

The driver says he swerved to avoid a bicyclist who came darting out in the street, but that person didn't stick around. At least one witness confirmed the driver's account to News 12. 

No injuries were reported.
