Fantasy of Lights celebrates 27 years in Connecticut

Fantasy of Lights, presented by Goodwill of Southern New England, is celebrating its 27th year in Connecticut.
The brilliant display of holiday lights in New Haven helps people with disabilities and other challenges.
Guests drive through a display featuring candy canes and elves, a dinosaur park, and a carousel house along the shorefront.
Guests also experience waterfront activities such as Santa on a Jet Ski and a lobster dressed as Santa Claus.
Goodwill Southern New England president Richard Borer says generations of families come back each year. They anticipate about 20,000 cars a year that come for the experience.
Fantasy of Lights is $10 a car, and tickets can be purchased on site.
Borer says resources raised through the event help people with disabilities.
He says Goodwill Industries of Southern New England helps people who have barriers to work and those with disabilities to find work.
