308ds agoDo you need to dispose your Christmas Tree? The Town of Hempstead is holding their second annual Mulchfest today.
You can trade-in your Christmas trees for a free bag of mulch. The trade-in takes place at Baldwin Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It's a great way to dispose of your Christmas tree in an environmentally friendly way. You can also bring old cardboard boxes to be recycled.
The event is free and open to all Town of Hempstead residents.
