A 60-year-old woman was struck by a car and seriously hurt Saturday morning in Long Beach, according to police.
Authorities say it happened around 11 a.m. on East Park Avenue near Roosevelt Boulevard.
The victim was hospitalized and treated for head injuries.
Her condition remains unknown as of Sunday afternoon.
Police say the driver remained at the scene of the incident.
