Police: Surveillance video shows man attempting to kidnap boy in stroller

Police have released surveillance video showing a man pushing a 3-year-old boy in a stroller down a Bath Beach sidewalk -- moments before they say the boy's grandmother thwarted his kidnapping attempt.
It happened Monday outside the Thanksgiving Supermarket at 2239 86th St. around 3:50 p.m.
Police say the man began pushing the stroller as the grandmother was shopping. Video shows him slowly nudging it away from the store.
Police say the grandmother saw what was happening and ran after the man. The suspect left the stroller and fled.
The child was uninjured.
The suspect is described as being a man between 25 and 40 years old.
