He's one of the most popular DJs in New York City and he calls Brooklyn home.
Hot 97's DJ Enuff sat down with News 12 to share how Brooklyn shaped not only his life, but his career.
Ephrem Lopez, most commonly known as DJ Enuff, grew up in Brooklyn, moving to Flatbush at a young age.

DJ Enuff is the host of Hot 97's “New at 2,” and has been a DJ for nearly three decades, securing his position in the music and radio industries.

“This is a great part about my job, I still love it. I don't see it as work. So, to me I’m one of the luckiest guys in the world. I’m playing music and I’m controlling the dance floor, and Brooklyn had a big part in that,” says DJ Enuff.

DJ Enuff tells News 12 his experiences in the borough helped him get to where he is today.

“All this education, all this culture I believe actually helped me as a disc jockey. You know being able to pick up all these different kinds of cultures,” says DJ Enuff.

He also says that diversity is impacting hip-hop right now.

“You got Brooklyn, Toronto and Africa on the same track, but it works for us,” says DJ Enuff.

DJ Enuff is gearing up for Hot 97's Summer Jam, one of the biggest hip-hop festivals in the area.

“The incredible talent, the jocks that have been there all throughout the years, the diversity of them individually. Do you know it's what makes a real true hip-hop concert,” says DJ Enuff.

Thousands are expected to turn out for Summer Jam at MetLife Stadium on June 2.
