A teen is accused of stealing a car in Ozone Park, Queens Friday with two children inside.
Authorities were able to catch up with the vehicle along Norwood Avenue in Cypress Hills after it crashed into a tree.
The NYPD says it happened around 8 p.m.
The car was at Liberty Avenue and 92nd Street when it was stolen, with a 5-year-old and 9-year-old inside.
The 16-year-old accused of stealing the car has not been identified. He was arrested after the car crashed.
The teen is facing charges including, grand larceny auto and reckless endangerment.
The two children were still inside of the car when police arrived. They were not injured.
