UPDATE: Police say they have arrested 36-year-old Arnel Henry on a murder charge in the death of Marie Louis.

Police are investigating a homicide after a 77-year-old woman was found dead inside her apartment in Kensington.

The victim, who has been identified as Marie Louis, was found unconscious and unresponsive at her home at 599 East 7th St. around 10 p.m. Monday.

News 12 is told she was found after one of her son's called police for a wellness check. Louis was pronounced dead at the scene.

Exclusive video shows the 77-year-old inside the building's the elevator less than 20 minutes before officers would find her dead in her 4th floor apartment.

Police say she lived at her home with two of her sons. News 12 is told she was her 36-year-old son's caretaker and that he had a medical history.

Police say he was taken to the hospital for a psych evaluation. They tell News 12 this is an ongoing investigation.
