A man was slashed in Sunset Park last week, leaving police on the hunt for the people responsible.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the two men they believe are connected to the slashing that happened last Wednesday around 2:30 a.m.
Police say the 31-year-old victim was walking near 52 Street and Fifth Avenue when two men came up to him and told him to hand over his money. When he refused, police say one of the men pulled out a box cutter and slashed him across the neck and cheek.
Investigators say the suspects ran off and the victim was rushed to the hospital where he was treated and released.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
