Updated guidance: CDC urges domestic travelers to get tested for COVID-19 before trip
The Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention wants all people traveling on domestic flights to get tested for
COVID-19 before boarding.
Previous recommendations

According to the new guidance, the agency recommends
testing 72 hours in advance of boarding, but they really want the test to
happen as close as possible.
Those who plan to be in large groups should also
plan to test after their trip.
