Young cancer survivor teams with Stop & Shop to donate stuffed toys to pediatric patients

57ds agoA 6-year-old Larchmont girl received hundreds of gifts Monday - but she's not keeping them for herself.
Cassidy Kline, who is already a stage 4 cancer survivor started the nonprofit Cuddles from Cassidy. Cassidy beat a rare muscle and tissue disease.
She is collecting and donating care packages to kids with life-threatening illnesses, just like she had.
"When I (had) cancer, lots of people gave me toys, so I want to give lots of people toys to feel better," says Cassidy.
Stop & Shop delivered more than 300 teddy bears to her mission on Monday.
Over the next two days, the stuffed animals will go to pediatric patients at two city hospitals.
The Klines estimate they've donated up to 1,500 toys in just a year and a half.
