A hit-and-run crash in East New York killed a woman Thursday.
Witnesses say a white Mercedes Benz struck the woman on Pennsylvania Avenue.
They also say the driver careened into six other cars -- two of them parked -- on the same street before fleeing.
After the accidents, witnesses say the driver exited his vehicle and tried to enter other cars.
When he could not, witnesses say he ran off on foot.
The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition, police say. She died a short while later.
They have arrested one man in connection with the incident.
