A person was fatally shot Saturday afternoon in East New York.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m. near New Lots Avenue.
News 12 Brooklyn was told that the victim is an 18-year-old male who was shot in the head.
A woman who says she was in the area of the shooting said she heard a commotion, then three to four gunshots.
The victim's identity has not been released. It was not immediately clear if any suspects were in custody.
