The FDNY and the Department of Buildings (DOB) have partially rescinded a vacate order at 2400 Webb Ave., allowing residents of 11 apartments to move back in.
The announcement comes three weeks after the FDNY ordered the evacuation after management removed the building's fire escapes without proper permits.
Officials say the second phase of the renovation is currently under way. New fire escapes are said to have been delivered to the site and could be installed by this weekend.
