A rash of locker break-ins at a Planet Fitness on the Grand Concourse has members calling for management to implement extra security.
According to police, there have been 18 break-ins at the gym within the last three months.
Among the items stolen were wallets, credit cards, driver?s licenses and iPhones. Planet Fitness says the lockers were broken into using a lock cutter.
The gym says it has hired a uniformed guard to patrol the locker area, has installed security cameras and is working with the NYPD to catch who is responsible.
