A fire ripped through a three-story brownstone in Crown Heights Christmas morning, leaving at least one family without a place to stay.
The fire left the building completely gutted and took an hour to fully extinguish. Victims suffered from mild smoke inhalation and were treated at the scene. No one was seriously injured.
Fire officials say the blaze started on the first floor and quickly spread throughout the entire building. They also say the fire appears suspicious and that they are continuing to investigate.
The Red Cross was on hand to help those displaced by the fire.
