2 charged with murder of missing New Canaan woman Jennifer Dulos
The estranged husband of missing New Canaan woman Jennifer Dulos and his girlfriend Michelle Troconis has been charged with murder in connection to her disappearance, sources say.

Fotis Dulos was taken into custody at his Farmington home Tuesday by state police, Lieutenant Jason Ferraro of the New Canaan Police Department confimed.
Sources confirmed Dulos was arrested for the murder of his missing estranged wife, and Troconis will also be charged with murder.
Additionally, an attorney, Kurt Mawhinney, will be charged with conspiracy to murder, according to the source.
Fotis is expected to be turned into State Police Troop G in Bridgeport Tuesday afternoon.

Police obtained surveillance video early on in the investigation of Fotis and his girlfriend Michelle Troconis throwing out trash bags at more than 30 spots in Hartford.

Tests confirmed Jennifer Dulos' blood was in some of the bags recovered from the trash.

Dulos and Troconis were both charged with two counts of evidence tampering and hindering prosecution in connection with the case.

His attorney argues that despite the criminal charges, Dulos is innocent and should not be kept from his children.

Jennifer has been missing since May 24, 2018.
