2 men arrested in Bed-Stuy for impersonating police officers

Police arrested two men they say posed as police officers and tried to rob a man of thousands in cash.
Police say Hubert Sekscinski and Mariusz Krajewski posed as police officers and pulled over a vehicle that was leaving a check-cashing shop Friday. Police say the men used a Ford Expedition with police lights and had fake shields when they pulled over the car. They say the men took $6,000 before police intervened.
Police say anyone who has doubts about the identity of an officer can ask to see ID or request to speak with a supervisor.
Charges are pending against the two men. The investigation is ongoing.
