Two men were shot in a McDonald's parking lot Wednesday afternoon in Canarsie.

The shooting took place at about 3:00 p.m. at 7602 Flatlands Ave. near E 76th Street. The McDonald's is located across the street from South Shore High School.

Authorities say the two victims were rushed to Brookdale Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to an employee who was inside the store at the time of the shooting, customers and workers ducked for cover upon hearing the gunshots. Officials are unsure how many shots were fired, but News 12 Brooklyn discovered three shell casings just a few feet from the front door.

NYPD officers blocked off the street for several hours to search for weapons and suspects. No arrests have been made.
