Cops are investigating a possible robbery pattern after they say two houses of worship and a parochial school in the 45th Precinct were burglarized within the past month.
According to police, the latest incident happened at the Temple Beth-El of City Island where Silver torah crowns and wine goblets were taken. Board members estimate the total damage is between $5,000-$10,000.
Officials say the first crime happened in late December when Our Lady of Assumption Church in Pelham Bay had several laptops and $400 stolen. Money was then taken and property damaged on Jan. 7 from a nearby Greek Orthodox Church.
The institutions say they plan to increase security or have alarm systems installed.
