For the first time in NYPD history, three brothers were sworn in as officers at the same time today.
Stephen, Alec and John Favale joined more than 1,200 new officers graduating Tuesday, bringing the number of officers on the force to 36,000.
The historic occasion marked the first time three siblings have ever graduated from the city's police academy together.
John Favale will be stationed in Coney Island, while his two brothers will be in Staten Island and Manhattan.
All three men will be joining their father, who is a 30-year police veteran, as well as their cousin and aunt in the NYPD.
