Officials have confirmed that all seven people killed in this afternoon's crash on the Bronx River Parkway were related.
Police have identified those killed as Jacob Nunez, 85, and Ana Julia Martinez, 81, who were visiting from the Dominican Republic, along with their daughters Maria Gonzalez, 45, and Maria Nunez, 39 and their children, Jocelyn Gonzalez, 10, and Niely Rosario, 7, and Marly Rosario, 3, all of whom lived in The Bronx.
Investigators say the crash happened when the SUV bounced off the median, crossed all southbound lanes over to the guardrail and fell more than 50 feet into a ravine.
Officials say the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
