Five suspects remain behind bars today in the death of an NYPD officer, while police have continued to comb the scene of the shooting.
Lamont Pride, 27, is due back in court tomorrow for allegedly shooting Peter Figoski in the face when he responded to a home break-in on Pine Street in Cypress Hills Monday.
A crime scene unit has been searching the home, and neighbors say they saw investigators on the roof. An NYPD mobile command unit is also nearby.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg took a moment to remember Figoski yesterday, commending him for his extraordinary contributions to the borough.
