The FDNY is investigating the cause of a fire that sent six people to the hospital Wednesday.
Flames broke out at around 4 p.m. at 1006 Gerard Ave. near East 164th Street. Investigators say firefighters were able to get it under control in minutes.
Those injured were taken to Jacobi Medical Center with minor injuries.
