The sixth annual 'Bed-Stuy Alive' event kicked off today. The street festival offers everything from one-of-a-kind street vendors to free health screenings. Many local farmers were also selling fresh produce at the event. Organizers say the festival aims to inspire Bed-Stuy residents to be healthy and active. They say they also want neighbors to feel proud of their community. 'Bed-Stuy Alive' events will take place in the neighborhood through Oct. 20.
