8-year-old accused of slashing classmate with razor
A child is recovering in the hospital tonight after allegedly being slashed by a classmate at a school playground. The incident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at P.S. 132 in Morrisania.

A child is recovering in the hospital tonight after allegedly being slashed by a classmate at a school playground.
The incident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at P.S. 132 in Morrisania. Officials say an 8-year-old used a double-edged razor to cut a 9-year-old on the back of the neck.
The victim was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital. The other child, who now faces charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon as a juvenile, also cut his hand in the process.
