Eight-year-old Armando Vigo, who was shot in the shoulder while at a bodega on Randall Avenue last Tuesday, was released from the hospital Monday.
Police say the alleged shooter, 15-year-old Eduardo Rodriguez, fired a single shot into the Yala's Deli and Grocery as he biked by.
Police Commissioner Ray Kelly says the shooting was gang-related and that Vigo was caught in the crossfire.
Rodriguez has been charged with attempted murder, assault, and criminal possesion of a weapon.
