A group of Coney Island tenants have launched a battle against their building owner.
The residents filed a lawsuit saying the conditions at Surf Manor have become a hazard to their health.
Tenants at the adult home say a bed bug infestation is only part of the issue.
They filed a class action lawsuit against the facility saying deteriorating conditions have gone unfixed.
Tenants also claim they have experienced verbal abuse and retaliation from administrators.
Administrators told News 12 Brooklyn that "the care and well being of individuals who reside in Surf Manor has always been our highest priority. We take exception to claims made in this lawsuit."
