Authorities have arrested the suspect accused of attacking a young woman in Woodlawn and have charged him with a felony assault charge. Police say they arrested Gregory Greene, 50, after he allegedly hit Alisha Jordan, 20, with a brick back on July 14. They say the victim first noticed Greene walking along Katonah Avenue between 238th and 239th streets before he struck near 240th Street. Investigators say Greene approached Jordan from behind, prompting her to chase him and attempt to hold him down. He escaped, but was taken into custody earlier this week. Police have discovered he has nearly 24 prior arrests.
