A tip from an anonymous caller led police to a search for a body in East New York Monday and Tuesday.

Investigators searched the area outside a home on Bradford Street for a body following an anonymous tip.  The caller told them the body was buried in the backyard.   

They came out to investigate Monday and have been there ever since.

Investigators say that they are waiting for a search warrant. 

Neighbors who spoke to News 12 say the neighborhood is very safe and that they can't imagine a body buried in a neighbor’s backyard.
