The battered cat rescued after a man slammed him against a wall inside a Bed-Stuy Chinese restaurant has recovered enough to be put up for adoption, according to the ASPCA.
Fulton the cat spent weeks recovering. 
The cat was allegedly attacked by 28-year-old Salah Zaid in a Fulton Street restaurant. Police arrested Zaid on animal cruelty charges.
Despite the charges, neighbors say there won't be a happy ending until Fulton finds a new home.
