An 11-year-old nonverbal child with autism has been found safe after he was reported missing at P.S. 369 in Boerum Hill, according to law enforcement officials. 

Police say that 11-year-old Andrew Burney, a Brooklyn resident, was located a few hours after being reported missing from the school.

Officials say that Burney was located in Nassau County, but it is unknown exactly where he was located.

At this hour it's not known how Burney left the school grounds without supervision.
