A Bed-Stuy family's dog was stolen while the dog was tied up outside a corner bodega.
The incident happened in less than seven minutes Monday night outside a bodega on Dekalb Avenue at Spencer Street.
Zoe Wickreth's boyfriend had her dog Pasha when he stopped into Mendez Deli to pick something up. On surveillance video, a young man and woman are seen taking an interest in the 14-year-old dog before guiding her away from the store on her leash.
Police were called to the scene Monday night and the bodega owner says officials viewed the surveillance video.
Zoe plans to put fliers up around the neighborhood in hope of finding Pasha. She says she is concerned that the dog is not being taken care of well.
Anyone who recognizes the man and woman that took the dog are asked to call Crime Stoppers.
