A Brooklyn man is trying to share with the public the massive African art collection that he stockpiled over 45 years.
Eric Edwards' Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment looks like a museum, and he's created a nonprofit organization to build an actual one.
He owns artifacts as much as 4,000 years old, he says.
In all, his $10 million collection consists of around 2,500 pieces of African art and tribal artifacts from all 54 countries on the continent.
He says he wants to put them all on display in what he will call the Cultural Museum of African Art.
