Only at this pantry, which is operated by the Child Development Support Corporation, all vegetables are grown on-site in an indoor garden using no sun or sunlight by incorporating the hydroponic method, in which vegetables are grown in water.

Every Thursday, nearby residents arrive with an empty cart and leave with a full selection of homegrown produce. The pantry is located at 352 Classon Ave. and is open on Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
