A Brooklyn woman is re-purposing old pieces of furniture and creating custom works of art. 

Adar Wellington says she bet she can change your mind about that old couch you want to throw away.

"I get to bring new life into furniture pieces often times people want to throw out, like their grandmother's old chest that has all this great history, but I love bringing out, re-bringing out a new life in a piece of furniture"

Wellington, a professional dancer and choreographer by trade, has now become a busy entrepreneur.

Her business "Tweak It Shop-Restyled Home Decor" is an elusive online shop.

However, you can find its owner working hard inside her Williamsburg apartment where she says she turns trash into treasure.

Her goal is to someday have her own TV show where she inspires people to create the home of their dreams.
