Today is the sixth annual Bike East event in which bicyclists will ride a 20-mile tour throughout Eastern Brooklyn.

The tour, sponsored by Purelements, will be escorted by the NYPD.

While the bike tour is going on, a lifestyle fair will also be held by Linden Park. The goal of the event is to help people focus on their physical and emotional health. There will be various activities held at the fair, including yoga, boxing and jump roping.

Face painting, music and food will also be a part of the event.

Organizers say the event is a celebration of and for the community.

The fair will be open to the public until it closes at 3 this afternoon.
