Big Blue fever takes over ahead of ticker-tape parade
It's Big Blue fever in Brooklyn as Giants fans gear up for tomorrow's ticker-tape parade.
Workers have begun setting up barricades and platforms for the celebration, which kicks off in downtown Manhattan at 11 a.m. and stops at City Hall Plaza for a special ceremony.
The sidewalks lining the parade up the Canyon of Heroes are open to the public, but there will be limited space at the plaza. Fans can try their luck at a lottery system that will distribute 500 tickets.
Commuters should expect street closures and limited subway service in the area.
