Small businesses across Brooklyn that may be suffering during the recession can tap into help from the city, a local business group says.

Stewart Mann, chairman of the Southwest Brooklyn Industrial Development Corporation, hosted a forum Thursday to point business owners toward incentives and programs offered by the city.

Mann, who is also a small business owner, says he's never seen a time when people have been so discouraged by the business climate. But Mann says taking advantage of all the city offers can help you get through the downturn.
