A Brooklyn man is dead after a high-speed car chase through two counties. Three people are in jail and nine police officers were injured in the crash.
The incident started late Saturday night just north of the New York State Thruway in Westchester County and lasted just 20 minutes.
State troopers say they saw about 20 bikers traveling at high speeds, weaving in and out of traffic. When they tried to pull them over, the bikers reportedly took off.
The Brooklyn resident died after crashing his bike into a police car.
Officials say a trooper eventually caught up to one of the riders at the entrance to the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Elmsford. Hassan Miller, 46, was arrested and is now facing numerous charges, including assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.
The bikers are part of the Brooklyn-based chapter of the motorcycle club called '300 Movement MC.' Two other bikers, Dennis Norwood and Kenneth Hammond, were arrested in Yonkers after crashing.
