(AP) - Authorities have identified the body of a manwho was hit by a car, trapped under another vehicle and draggedthrough New York City for nearly 20 miles. Police say the victim was 26-year-old Guido SalvadorCarabajo-Jara. The body was identified by his cousin. The victim, a native ofEcuador, had been living in Queens. Police found only a business card, Western Union receipt andiPhone in his pockets after the man's body was discovered inBrooklyn on Wednesday.
An autopsy found that Carabajo-Jara died from multiple blunt-impact injuries, medical examiner spokeswoman Ellen Borakove said Thursday. But it hadn't yet been determined exactly when he died. Police said the gruesome episode was accidental and that theyhave no plans to charge the drivers. Both men have clean drivingrecords.Police: Body found on Coney Island Avenue
