Boogie Down Bites: Gun Hill Tavern
The Gun Hill Tavern offers up over 20 beers on tap, something customers say is rare for a restaurant in the South Bronx.
Owner Kieran Farrell, who is also the co-owner of the Gun Hill Brewing Company in Williamsbridge, says he was excited to help bring the brewery's vibe and beer into the restaurant.
"This area will all be built up soon with Starbucks and everything. We want a real Bronx brand to be in the South Bronx, one that actually started here and one that's for the people," he says.
Gun Hill pairs many of its traditional bar food like wings and burgers with a variety of tasty beers.
