Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. hosted his annual Black History Month celebration at the Bronx Museum of Art tonight.
Diaz used the event to commend the work of those who make a difference in the borough, and among them was News 12's own Carmen Grant.
Each honoree was given a plaque for their achievements in The Bronx. The event featured music and a special dance performance.
Those honored tell us that the real celebration of Black History Month is based on how African-American contributions are remembered, day in and day out.
