Some drivers in Brighton Beach are ignoring a new sign that was meant to make the roads safer.
The sign restricts left and U-turns from Coney Island Avenue, but News 12 cameras caught many vehicles disregarding the change as they head onto Banner Avenue or the Shore Parkway service road.
News 12 reached out to the Department of Transportation (DOT), but has not yet heard back.
