Students at Mott Haven Academy put on a performance Wednesday to celebrate a $500,000 donation from TD Bank for their after-school program, the Futures Program. The city's oldest and largest family service agency, New York Foundling, launched the Futures Program at Mott Haven Academy back in 2008. The charter school serves students in foster care and child welfare systems. Principal Jessica Nauiokas said the administration plans to put the donation toward programs in music, dance and yoga over the next three years.
