A tire slasher has struck again, leaving Bronx drivers flat for a fourth straight day.
Residents near Trinity and Westchester avenues in Mott Haven say they woke up to find several cars with all four tires slashed. For the past three days, drivers in the neighboring Morrisania area have also fallen victim.
Police say they've increased patrols with both uniformed and plain-clothes officers, but no arrests have been made.
Community leaders say they've become concerned that the slashings are becoming a trend and many say they will be attending a Community Board 2 meeting tomorrow to address the crimes.
Until a suspect is caught, police are asking residents to report any tire slashing they find on their vehicles promptly to police.
