A Bronx newlywed couple is proving that the strength of their love can go a long way.
Malcolm Alleyne and Sonia McClean married at the MJHS Hospice in Riverdale after being together for five years. Their commitment came with one rule: the groom had to get his teeth fixed before they would say "I do."
The day before Alleyne's dental appointment, he had a seizure, which led to a terminal lung cancer diagnosis. However, the couple didn't let it stand in the way of their special day and became husband and wife in a ceremony donated by hospice and other local merchants.
